The Need is Growing - Please Help Us...
Mother & Newborn Campaign
There is an urgent need for expansion of the Maternal Child Services Department for Mercy Medical Center in Redding. Due to an increase in population and closure of other facilities, Mercy Medical Center is currently the only facility to provide labor and delivery rooms in Redding. Additionally, we are the only facility to provide high-risk birthing services for the north state region from the Oregon border to Redding. The focus of this expansion is to improve mother-infant care and family bonding by allowing for greater privacy, and location of delivery, postpartum recovery, and newborn care in a centralized area, while modernizing the areas to make them more aesthetically pleasing. Your donations will help leave a legacy for generations to come.
Hospice
Hospice is a set of services that we may all need one day – if not for ourselves, for someone we love. Mercy Redding Hospice is not a place but a concept of care designed to provide comfort and support to patients and their families when a life-limiting illness no longer responds to cure-oriented treatments. Our Hospice program is not about dying, it is about living with respect and dignity, and without pain. It is about living life to its fullest, including the final moment. No patient is ever turned away from Hospice due to inability to pay. Your donation means so much in allowing us to continue this valuable ministry to the community.

Where the Need is Greatest
Each day, Mercy Medical Center Redding touches the lives of people of all ages. Extending compassionate care to everyone in need regardless of their ability to pay is the driving objective of Mercy Medical Center Redding. Just within the last fiscal year the hospital provided $15.4 million dollars in “charity care” that was not reimbursed from other sources. We could not provide compassionate care to all of our citizens without the generous support our faithful donors. You can make a real difference – you not only impact lives today, but your support can have a lasting impact into the future.
