Mercy Medical Center Mt. Shasta OB Expansion
Mercy Foundation North has launched a $500,000 capital campaign to raise money for Mercy Medical Center Mt. Shasta’s Obstetrics Department. The first gifts have come from the hospital’s employees, who have donated $42,000 toward the project. More recently, Mercy Medical Center Mt. Shasta’s Auxiliary generously pledged $20,000 to the campaign. To date, $75,000 has been raised!
The central focus of the planned expansion will be the purchase of a central monitoring system and new fetal heart monitors followed by construction of the new unit. The case for support of this vital project is strong; the need indisputable. The hospital’s expert childbirth and pre-birth health care services are essential to the good health and future of our children and our community. Through the efforts of this project and its capital campaign, the health care team of doctors, nurses, and support professionals can continue their work of helping to deliver miracles to families in far Northern California. A charitable contribution to this project stays local and works to improve patient care for you, your family and our community.
