Mercy Medical Center Mt. Shasta cares for the underserved areas of rural southern Siskiyou County. A 25-bed hospital is a designated Critical Access Hospital and offers orthopedic and heart care, digital imaging service, family birth center, cancer care, surgical services, Hospice care and other critical services. Mercy Medical Center Mount Shasta is one of two rural family birth centers in Siskiyou County, and therefore, has the privilege of welcoming a majority of our newest neighbors. We welcome 150 new faces into the region annually.
