Mercy Foundation North relies on a wide variety of funding sources to continue the works of the Sisters of Mercy in northern California. These include services for the poor and the elderly provided by Shasta Senior Nutrition Programs and Golden Umbrella as well as healthcare provided by three DignityHealth North State hospitals.
Funds raised are used for many endeavors, including but not limited to: capital upgrades, expansion, purchasing state-of-the-art medical equipment, free health clinics, educational events and materials for medical staff and the public, and operating support.
