Thank You Health Care

How the Community can Help

As our nation responds to the COVID-19 pandemic, local support and assistance is crucial. Mercy Foundation North, Dignity Health's philanthropic arm of the north state region, is focusing its efforts on providing immediate impact on the seen and unforeseen needs in our communities.

Our hospitals, clinics, and ancillary services are doing everything they can to care for us and keep us safe. We know this situation is putting a strain on all of us.

Philanthropic support can increase our capacity and assist those in need.

At Mercy Foundation North, there are several ways you can help:

  • Dignity Health Connected Living operates the region's food bank and provides food and commodities to seniors and those in need. Services include Meals on Wheels, Emergency Food Services and Brown Bag Programs.

  • COVID-19 attacks the lungs and respiratory system of patients. This is where ventilators and respiratory equipment come in to help save lives.

You can help sustain our respiratory needs here.

  • Our hospitals and caregivers continue to go to work to save lives and keep us healthy. LIke many health care systems, we are working with our hospital leadership to determine needs to best equip our teams for any situation. If you have any Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) that you are able to donate, please contact Randi Slaughter, Manager of Annual Support, at 530.247.3425 or at
